Introducing RANGEMAN, the latest addition to the Master of G series of tough and rugged timepieces that are designed and engineered to stand up to the most grueling conditions imaginable. RANGEMAN employs a Shock Resistant Triple Sensor, which makes it capable of keeping altitude, barometric pressure, temperature and direction readings at your fingertips. Cylindrical buttons provide outstanding operation and improved resistance to impact. The frequently used sensor button (center right) has a metal cover that protects it against lateral impact and keeps foreign matter out. Pressing the sensor button in any mode takes you directly to a sensor screen. Each sensor mode has its own audible tone, which means you can determine which mode you are entering without even looking at the watch. All of this plus sunrise/sunset data, one-touch time recording, one-touch elapsed time measurement, world-renowned G-Shock toughness and durability, and much more makes RANGEMAN the perfect choice for rangers, rescue crews, and anyone else whose profession or activities demand unfailing reliability.

    • Atomic Timekeeping

Shows accurate time by receiving radio signals of standard time information. JJY= Corresponds to both of Japanese standard waves JJY (40kHZ/60kHZ); WWVB= Corresponds to the USA standard wave WWVB (60kHz); MSF/DCF77= Corresponds to UK and Germany standard waves MSF/DCF77 (60kHz/77.5kHz); BPC= Corresponds to Chinese standard wave BPC (68.5kHz)

    • Solar Power

A solar cell provides power for operation

    • Compass

A built-in direction sensor detects magnetic north

    • Altitude Measurement

A built-in pressure sensor measures barometric pressure, which is converted to relative altitude

    • Barometric Pressure Measurement

A built-in pressure sensor measures barometric pressure, which is shown on the display

    • Temperature Measurement

A built-in temperature sensor measures the temperature

    • LED Light (Full Auto Light Super Illuminator)

A high-brightness diode is used to illuminate the face of the watch in one of a variety of colors: blue, green, light blue, pink, yellow, or white

    • World Time (R48)

Displays the current time in major cities and specific areas around the world. R: Current time in major cities around the world. Values indicate number of cities/areas

    • Daily Alarm, Hourly Time Signal (5)

The daily alarm sounds each day at the time you set. The value indicates how many alarms are available. The hourly time signal causes the watch to beep every hour on the hour

    • Snooze Feature

Each time you stop the alarm, it sounds again after a few minutes

    • Stopwatch (1/100 100HR)

Accurate measurement of elapsed time with the touch of a button. The fraction indicates the unit of measurement, while the time figure indicates the maximum time measurement

    • Timer (24H)

Counts down from a start time specified by you. The value indicates the number of timers available, while the time figure indicates the maximum starting time. “REPEAT” indicates Auto Repeat, which automatically restarts timing at the end of each countdown

    • Sunrise, Sunset Time Display

Sunrise and sunset times are displayed based on your current latitude and longitude

    • Time Recorder

Stores up to 40 records (shared storage with date/time, bearing and barometric pressure/temperature records)

    • Full Auto-Calendar

Allowances are made automatically for months of different lengths, including leap year

    • 12/24-Hour Timekeeping

Times can be displayed in either 12-hour or 24-hour format

    • Operation Tone On/Off

The tone that sounds to signal a mode change or other operation can be turned on and off

    • Battery Level Indicator

Indicator shows the current battery level

    • Shock Resistant

Shock-resistant construction protects against impact and vibration

    • Mud Resistant

Dirt and mud-resistant construction keeps mud and dirt from getting into the watch

    • Water Resistant (20 BAR)

The “BAR” value indicates the number of atmospheres to which water resistance is ensured. 20 BAR means water resistance to 20 atmospheres. Watches marked “200m” have the same water resistance as 20 BAR watches
