The built-in GPS acquires positioning information from GPS satellites and displays the positions of the current location and destination
in real time. Besides displaying the trajectory of your travels and a record of key geographical points to assist on your return, it provides a route map with the start point and destination reversed.
Solar-assisted Recharging:
A solar-charging function is available to support the wireless-charging system. This makes long-time GPS operation possible in environments with no power supply, contributing to a high-stamina performance you can count on in extreme environments.

DESIGN
Pursuit of the Strength to Overcome Harsh EnvironmentsMud-resistant Structure:
Gaskets are fitted around the buttons and in the button shafts, and silicon is installed at the base of the crown. Air-tightness is increased to prevent mud from entering the case without compromising operability.
Fine Resin Insert Bumper:
A newly developed, two-color molded resin bumper with a high-strength fine resin insert is installed. In addition to preventing damage from impacts, it protects the case while minimizing case thickness.
GPS Antenna Bezel:
The stainless-steel bezel incorporates a GPS antenna function. Stable reception is achieved by thus arranging the ring-form antenna outside the case.
Ceramic Case Back:
A ceramic case back that supports wireless charging and high-sensitivity GPS signal reception has been adopted. The 2.0 mm thick ceramic material satisfies G-SHOCK’s strict shock-resistance and 200 meter water-resistance specifications.
